Haven’t you heard?

The biennial convention of the Celestial Church of Christ, USA Diocese is fast approaching. The Celestial Church of Christ in the United States of America is a part of one spiritual, global, united, and holy Church with the mission of evangelizing the world through the proclamation of the word- the good news of the Messiah Jesus Christ, and the kingdom of God.

The forthcoming convention tagged “Restoration” will evaluate the current condition of the church and attempt to provide lasting solutions to highlighted challenges at the convention. Recommendations from this convention will have a spiral effect on the Celestial Church of Christ, worldwide. I bet you don’t want to miss this epoch–making event.

What dates are we talking about?

  • Thursday May 16th – to Sunday May 19th, 2024

  • Indiana Marriott East Hotel, Indianapolis, United States of America.

What about International participants?

  • Unfortunately, we do not have any special consideration for international participants. International participants with a valid US visa can register for the convention.

How much is the registration fees?

  • Adult (24 years +): $150
  • Student/Youth (19years to 24 years): $100
  • 10- 18 years: $50
  • Children (10 years & under): Free

Where do I stay during the convention?

  • All convention participants will stay at Indiana Marriott East Hotel, 7202 E 21st Street Indianapolis, Indiana. This upscale hotel is located minutes away from Downtown Indianapolis, about 15 minutes away from Lucas Oil Stadium and other locales including the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. At the Skylight Bistro and Bar, you can enjoy classic entrees, breakfast, and dinner. Other amenities include an indoor pool, ergonomic work areas, high–speed Wi-Fi, and 26 multifunctional event venues with a variety of indoor and outdoor spaces ideal for our convention. How do I get to the Convention ground?

  • This depends on your departure point. However, for participants using air transportation Indianapolis International Airport is the designated airport, and the hotel is about 20 minutes’ drive from the airport. A pick-up van has been arranged by the logistics & hospitality sub–committee for airport pickup at intervals. Kindly inform/call Alagba Akinyemi at 646-639-2284 or Alagba Muri Oke at 317-361-6944.
  • Alternatively, you may decide to move solo. There are Taxis, Uber, Lyft, and rental cars at the airport. All you need is to plan and book in advance the most convenient route to your destination. For participants driving to Indianapolis, the address is 7202 E 21st Street Indianapolis, Indiana, USA.  (Insert Google map coordinate)

Are there business opportunities at the Convention?

  • Yes, there will be a vendor‘s pavilion at the convention, on a first come, first serve basis. We are no longer accepting advert/personal greetings to be included in the Convention Program of Event –  Daily rate – $100 |  Throughout the convention – $250

What makes this convention unique?

The convention will run simultaneously with the youth convention. At the convention this year, findings and recommendations will be presented from the following areas:

• Expanding CCC Membership beyond African Diaspora: Gaining westerners in the USA
• Restoring Reverence, Order, and Uniformity to the Choir Ministry
• Defining CCC in a structured organization
• CCC Youth- a Ministry of Revolution or Accommodation
• Redefining the Evangelical Ministry in CCC
• How can women influence the culture of the Celestial Church of Christ

Is there any fun activity on the Agenda?

Yes, there will be a Gala Night on Saturday, May 18th, 2024. You won’t want to miss it. It promises to be fun–filled! The outfit for this gala dinner is flamboyant traditional, so come with your best attire and dancing shoes.
