Haven’t you heard?

The biennial convention of the Celestial Church of Christ, USA Diocese is fast approaching. The Celestial Church of Christ in the United States of America is a part of one spiritual, global, united, and holy Church with the mission of evangelizing the world through the proclamation of the word- the good news of the Messiah Jesus Christ, and the kingdom of God.

The forthcoming convention tagged “Ascencion” will re-evaluate the current condition of the church and attempt to provide lasting solutions to highlighted challenges at the convention. Recommendations from this convention will have a spiral effect on the Celestial Church of Christ, worldwide. We ask that you be a part of this transformative event.

What dates are we talking about?

  • Thursday April 30th – to Sunday May 3rd, 2026

  • Crowne Plaza Hotel Rhode Island, United States of America.

What about International participants?

  • All international participants are solely responsible for all legal documents needed for entry into the United States of America. No special consideration for international participants at this time. International participants are encouraged to register for the convention after they obtain all necessary legal documents.

How much is the registration fees?

  • Adult (24 years +): $150
  • Student/Youth (19years to 24 years): $100
  • 10- 18 years: $50
  • Children (10 years & under): Free

Where do I stay during the convention?

  • All convention participants will stay at Crowne Plaza Hotel, 801 Greenwich Ave, Warwick, RI 02886. This upscale hotel is located minutes away from the T.F. Green airport, Downtown Providence and Warwick Mall. The hotel amenities include Interconnected Rooms, an indoor pool, 24-hours Fitness Center with Gym/Workout Room, Free High-Speed Internet (Wi-Fi), Complimentary Parking and a variety of indoor and outdoor spaces ideal for our convention.  Seeing is believing! How do I get to the Convention ground?

  • The recommended airport is T.F Green International Airport, Warwick Rhode Island (Airport Code is PVD), which is just about five minutes’ drive to the hotel where the convention will take place. There is 24 hours round the clock complimentary daily hotel airport shuttle to and fromT.F Green International Airport, Warwick, Rhode Island.
  • The next nearer airport is Logan Airport, Boston, Massachusetts, (Airport Code is BOS) and it is about 90 minutes away. There is no shuttle from the Boston airport.  However, the Convention Committee will work all attendees in getting them to the convention hotel. Participants may choose to organize their transportationindependently or contact the National logistics Chairman: Alagba Yinka Fagbamigbe at +1-347-558-3769 or the Local logistics Chairman: Jide Aofolajunwonlo at +1-401-316-8812 for transportation information assistance.

Are there business opportunities at the Convention?

  • Yes, there will be a vendor‘s pavilion at the convention, on a first come, first serve basis. We are no longer accepting advert/personal greetings to be included in the Convention Program of Event –  Daily rate – $100 |  Throughout the convention – $250

What makes this convention unique?

The convention will run simultaneously with the youth convention. At the convention this year, findings and recommendations will be presented from the following areas:

• Expanding CCC Membership beyond African Diaspora: Gaining westerners in the USA
• Restoring Reverence, Order, and Uniformity to the Choir Ministry
• Defining CCC in a structured organization
• CCC Youth- a Ministry of Revolution or Accommodation
• Redefining the Evangelical Ministry in CCC
• How can women influence the culture of the Celestial Church of Christ

Is there any fun activity on the Agenda?

Yes, there will be a one-of-a-kind fun-filled Gala Night on Saturday, May 2nd, 2026. The outfit for this gala event is traditional, formal and elegant. Be prepared to rock the dance floor.
